Good work from everyone. The sound track is catchy, the animation is uniformly good. Happy Madness Day!

As you said, the song is gorgeous, and you've done well matching the animation to the lyrics. The rather austere, black and white style complements the music very nicely. Good job.

"Nice idea, but it needs some work."
I do enjoy turnabout type games like this, but you have some bugs that need to be fixed. First, the music doesn't seem to be looped- after the track finished, it just stopped and the rest of the game was silent. Also, in maybe the 4th level or so, some of the solid ground wasn't really solid, while my koopa was able to walk on other areas where there was no ground at all. And really, if you want to improve this submission you need to add some variety. Everything is pretty much the same the whole way through. Maybe add some Luigis, princesses, and Toads to jump on to break the monotony, add a boss, maybe some powerups, and even some different colors of terrain.

It reminds me of a Madness version of X-Men- should be very interesting. Your animation is very smooth, movement is good, and the special effects are well done- overall a very professional looking piece. I will be looking forward to the series.

I hadn't seen the first one, but I will have to check it out. This was a great flash and I honestly have no suggestions for improvement. The character development was very good, especially the little mime- his soundtrack was humorous by itself in an odd way. I'll be looking forward to the next one.

You know, although the animation could be improved, I actually enjoyed this short. The concept is good, and I enjoyed how the one little fellow was so absorbed in his work that he didn't notice what was going on right behind him. And, of course, the mudkip was a nice touch. Good job.

While I am a fan of breakout style games, this one has a couple of technical issues. First, I noticed that there doesn't seem to be a lot of precision in directing the cow. While in most breakout games, the position that the ball (here the cow) hits the paddle (here the tractor) has an effect on the angle and speed of the ball, while in this one it appears that the tractor just redirects the cow at the same angle and speed it had before. Also, the behavior of the cow when hitting blocks of fence did not seem consistent- sometimes the cow would pass through several blocks in a row, while other times the cow would hit a single block and then deflect back downwards.
On a non-technical note: why would you want to free a cow? A "free" cow would last about as long as it took to either wander out into a road, or attract the attention of a large predator. They are not very intelligent animals.

Thanks for the notes, they have been really helpful :D

For some reason (maybe the grotesque close ups?) this reminded me of Ren & Stimpy somehow. The animation quality is excellent and the characters seem interesting, but it felt like I was watching 1 minute from the middle of a longer cartoon. It's a good start, but needs to be longer.

While this submission is not badly programmed, it is a pretty straightforward bejeweled knockoff. If I felt like playing bejeweled, there is nothing in this game that would make me think, "Hey, I'll go play Monster Gems instead!" I would recommend changing the sounds (maybe various little roars, honks, and screams for the different monster varieties, rather than the generic 'gem' noise), maybe animating the little monsters a bit, and adding some unique powerups as bonuses for certain combos- anything to set the game apart from the other match-3 type games.

"Good overall, but has balance issues"
I enjoyed this game, and have added it to my favorites. The variety of enemies, each with their own special abilities, is good. I enjoyed the token concept more than the normal "x number of lives" method. I also like the fact that towers will level up over time. However, I think the rewards for killing enemies don't ramp up fast enough to compensate for the increased enemy hp at higher levels, and the shifter enemies either need to be slowed down or have much lower hp. The sniper towers are a joke; even against shifters, I got more use out of my green and purple towers than my sniper towers. The shifters disappear, the sniper tower hits one of them (not even killing it at high levels), and by the time it gets ready for a second shot the shifters are visible again anyway. The sniper towers should either be sped up significantly, or have their damage increased sufficiently that a maxed out sniper tower can kill any non-boss enemy with one shot. Overall it's a very good game though- 9/10.
